Kingdom Development Center

The Kingdom Development Center (KDC) is a division of BOSS United Inc. that has partnered with organizations in the local community to address the social service needs that are diminishing the resident buy-in and stakeholder retention needed to keep the community healthy.

Although all intensive family interventions and mental health services are handled through UNITED METRO BOYS ACADEMY (UMBA) division of BOSS United Inc.; KDC partners with local churches to offer pastoral and spiritual counseling services.

We are currently offering the following groups and forums:

Project ROYALTY: Parenting Group exclusively for FATHERS

Project COPS: Public Safety Forum for community residents and local police officers

It is KDC’s mission to instill values and teach kingdom principles to the modern family to promote healthy communities.

This division of BOSS United is 100% grant funded.

What is Telehealth?

(Also referred to as Telemedicine, Teletherapy or Telepsychiatry)
Telehealth is a form of video conferencing allowing psychiatrists and therapists to provide services to patients outside of the office, for example at the patient’s home or workplace. It also provides the opportunity for consultation with family members, teachers and other providers involved in the patient’s care. Surveyed patients participating in telemedicine say they are very satisfied with the care they are receiving and that they feel telemedicine is a reliable form of practice. In addition, they find that they are able to keep their appointments on a more regular basis.
